Intel had a free night at OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, I think). I had book club, but Aaron took Arwen and Noah. They have a cool Star Wars exhibit there right now. Aaron and the kids made it in before it closed. They have a "if you leave, you can't re-enter" policy. The minute they got it, Arwen was doing her pee pee dance so they had to leave. Then the kids humored Aaron and sat through a boring 15 minute long movie. He tried to get them to see another one, but they said No Way!! They loved the kid area the best of course!!

Sounds like a fun place. Too bad the "pee pee" dance had to show up right after you get into the starwars place.

The StarWars exhibit had plenty of "animals" to scare Noah, but was pretty boring for little kids otherwise. Noah loved the anything with electric sparks and Arwen just loved to run the other direction of Noah. OMSI is like a watered down Exploratorium. The kids didn't want to leave but both of them fell asleep a few seconds after we got in the car.

Fun! That's kind of how it's been for us here in DC, we want to go look at things at museums, but the kids don't last that long, and unfortunately, there aren't cool "kid places" at the museums here! OMSI is awesome though!
