The weather has been so nice here ! It was overcast and about 70 degrees today. I took the kids to the zoo to enjoy it. Joshua had a fun time playing in the grass while the kids ran around.
I think Arwen and Noah enjoyed their suckers more than anything else.
Just relaxing and enjoying the day.
Arwen being an extreme "bear" climber.

Noahisms: It's been really nice outside and the kids spend all their time out there. We caught Noah peeing on our strawberry plants instead of coming inside to use the bathroom. What a naughty little boy! Good thing the kids are the only ones that even get to eat them, since they always pick and eat them while they are green!
We had Stake Conference today, so we got ready early and went to the nature park to take a family picture. Joshua got his first haircut! He did great; it didn't even phase him. He just sat on Aaron's lap and ate his chocolate chip cookie while I buzzed away. What a silly little family!

All three of the kiddos had a fun time playing out in the back yard this weekend with Aaron. I have NO IDEA what is on all of their faces, but I'm sure it was delicious! Arwen tended Joshua on the trampoline while Aaron mowed the lawn. What a sweet princess she is. Don't worry...Noah was taking a nap, so there was no chance of Joshua "falling" off! I know that some of you were concerned...well, okay, it was just me, but Joshua can FINALLY roll over on his own. Yesterday he rolled all over his bedroom until he ran into the door. Then he put his pacifier in his mouth and tried to go to sleep. He also weaned himself this week. He had no idea what to do with a bottle and freaked out when I tried to give him that nasty formula. He finally learned to master the bottle with...chocolate milk. What a naughty boy, and a very naughty mom! I am quickly adding more and more formula and less and less chocolate milk each time.
Arwenisms: I have been dying with pneumonia for the last two weeks. While Aaron was getting ready to give me a blessing Arwen gave me the sweetest little "blessing" ever. She is so thoughtful with her prayers. It is the neatest thing ever to hear her pray!
Noahisms: This morning while we were having breakfast Noah kept begging me for "Hairy Farkles." I kept asking him what in the world he was talking about. Then he said, "Hairy Farkles...like Arwen's cheeks." Ohhhhh...I had just gotten done putting FAIRY SPARKLES on Arwen's cheeks. I guess my sweet little Noah needed some Hairy Farkles too!

Looks like I have a boy that's a pretty princess too, Bethany! I was updating the blog the other day and Noah came in to me and said, "I need a wipe. I made a mess." Boy, I guess! He showed me his toes and said, "They look so pretty." I asked him if he was a girl and he laughed and told me no. I asked if he was a princess and he laughed again and said No!! I then asked what he was and he said, "I'm just Noah." He got pretty pink nail polish all over himself and the carpet. Oh well...I was toying with the idea of putting new carpet down this year. Noah just made my decision easier!!

Fluffernuts (0ne of the cats) had babies while we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa. We would constantly find the kids playing with the "baby fluffers." Arwen built a little bed for them.
Bill has bees! He and Michael braved the bees and went out and got us some yummy honey! This was a wild swarm of bees trying to find their way back into the hive.
Me and Arwen even braved the bees...without a sting, unlike poor baby Jack and Uncle Mohawk (Michael)!!
Here is Arwen with her pet lady bug.
We of course spent a day in San Francisco! We had to find Aaron a belt buckle like his Dad's! We had fun on the wharf along the way. This is Joshua right after eating two huge pieces of Ghiredelli fudge! Boy, he sure loves the sweets!
"If you're going to San Fransisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair!!
The best part of the whole day (if you ask Noah) was feeding...and chasing all of the pigeons. He and the birds shared a yummy cracker snack!!

The kids and I spent the last week down in California for spring break! We had so much fun!! Here is a picture at Matthew's birthday party of the three boys closest in age. It's Jack, Dallin, and Joshua. What a bunch of cuties! It sure was fun to get together with all the cousins and play!

I was digging through some old video files and came across one of little Arwen looking a lot like Joshua with Emily's hair over his head, at least it did to my memory, not so much in reality. It's funny how fun to watch boring video is after years have gone by. I've really got to take more before the kids grow up. I played a video of Arwen playing with a balloon in Israel the other day and Noah, Arwen, and Joshua were laughing hysterically. Noah learned his sissy’s name is really Arwen from the videos, and calls her Arwen now once in a while.
