I am sick to death of Noah pulling his band aid off his thumb and then begging for a new one. He's done it 4 times already today. Here's what it looks like now a days...lots better! It has healed really nicely.
This morning Noah came up to Sarah and I and said “Train”, trying to understand what he was getting at and not knowing if he meant train, we ask what he was saying. He repeated “Train” a few times and seeing that we were to dim-witted to understand said “Truck” and held up his un-bandaged thumb and said “Fix it” in his sweet little voice. The pore little boy was asking for a bandage by referring to the Fire Truck and the Ambulance that came to “Fix” him. It’s been pretty traumatic for him, and that’s why he likes it covered all the time, though it is a pain.
Evan does thinks Noah's thumb looks yucky and wants him to know that he has an cut on his thumb too. Good ol' Evan always trying to make you feel good huh Noah!
Sarah...what a great blog you have here! Yours is one adorable family. The pinewood derby entry is funny...I thought the competitiveness was funny, too. Can you imagine of the RS had a derby? I think there would be a prize for everyone, and we would all be finding ways to make other sister's cars faster. Ha. Anyway, how did you get such a cool banner for your blogsite? See you at book club!

do I see the beginnings of a new nail already?
WOW! I can't imagine what on earth it looked like before...crazy!
The doctor said that it will be up to a year before the nail is back...I think what looks like nail is just the hamburger scabbing over.
That is so rough! Poor little guy. Does it still hurt him? At least he has a thumb!
I don't think it hurts him, but he likes to wear a band aid cause it scares him...but I am so done with the band aids. He just wastes them!!

I mean at the base of his thumb it looks like the tiny little peaking out of a thumb nail. But maybe not.

Thanks Meredith. Aaron knows a little about html and so he puts a different banner up every so often of cool pics we've taken.
